24th Cubs visit to Royal Artillery

27th September 2014

On Saturday 27th September we joined other Cub Packs from around the Medway Towns District to visit the Royal Artillery Museum in Woolwich. We were met by "real soldiers" who were our tour guides for the day. First of all they painted our faces with camouflage paint then took us round a series of adventures. We shot air rifles, dressed up in WW2 clothes, did a bungee run, made swords & medals, fired foam rockets and did military drill. After lunch we had a guided tour of the museum and squeezed in a visit to the gift shop.
We returned home home having had lots of fun and a very enjoyable educational day.
