Waste Paper Collection

On the second Sunday of each month parents, scouts and leaders collect old newspapers and other waste paper left out by the villagers of Borstal.

Parents and leaders are allocated particular roads and, with the help of one or two scouts, they collect bags of paper in their cars and return them to the scout hut. Willing scouts and explorers unload the cars and empty the bags into a large container.
