Back to Basics, written by Peter Brooks and illustrated by Doug Mountford, originally appeared as a supplement in Scouting Magazine (probably in the 1980s).

The book provides a full and easy to follow guide to the kind of skills that scouts are likely to develop.  Its contents range from camp skills to first aid and axe safety, covering all areas of basic scouting knowledge.
